The Museum of tools is an exhibition space in the Val d'Oise, France, featuring traditional French tools, as well as older objects and a forge. It is also a place of entertainment, culture and inspiration for various artists.
The main idea behind this visual identity is to showcase the museum's many ustensils in a lively, modern way. Representing craftsmanship through its forms, the large number of tools and their uses. If you look at the museum's objects, you'll notice that they're mainly made of old materials, notably wood and metal.

Starting from a fixed grid, the signs unfold, with the aim of representing every kind of tool that can be exhibited in the museum: pliers, blades, sledgehammers and so on.

To represent craftsmanship, I chose to use brown, accompanied by black and white, as well as a range of colors from green to violet. In this way, we find the spirit of wood and traditional materials, the black and white provides a modernity and impactful contrast, and the bright colors bring richness to evoke the diverse knowledge of craftsmanship.
