For the end-of-year celebrations in 2021, Culturebox wanted to decorate its TV channel with idents created by young creatives. In collaboration with Gédéon, Gobelins offered us the opportunity to participate in this project.
Delving into the theme of the holidays, I found myself immersed in the stories of my childhood, the winter tales full of enchantment. These rich worlds inspired me to create a magical ident, as icy as the night but as colorful as our celebrations.
I challenged myself to animate this short sequence in cell animation. In three weeks, I managed to conceive, storyboard, and produce these five seconds of visual poetry.
Animated on Rough Animator, cleaned on Photoshop and composited using After Effects.
